Through extensive research and witnessing trauma stories from personal injury clients I have serviced, as well as generational traumas within my family, and my own experiences, I have come to recognize the profound impact of trauma on the nervous system. The nervous system, often called the body’s command system plays a crucial role in controlling reactions, thoughts, and movements.

I understand firsthand that trauma can dysregulate the nervous system, leading to disproportionate responses to triggers.
I have developed an integrative wellness system that takes into account the latest neuroscience and addresses the physical, psychological, and environmental aspects of trauma.

This multi-dimensional system allows me to effectively confront the root causes of trauma and unlock hidden traumas. It empowers me to tailor a program with tools that help shift my perspective and reset my nervous system with harmonizing energy, promoting self-care, and inner peace. This approach aims to achieve the optimal wellness I deserve.

Often I’m asked by individuals experiencing trauma or professionals if they can use my tools to address their trauma and/or to help them better understand their client’s trauma.

Because of my in-depth understanding of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders “DSM-5”, I understand symptoms may be similar, but not all trauma shows up the same, so I would tell them no and invite them to learn more about my process to customize a Keys program with a unique and effective cognitive-behavioral formula specific to their trauma or the trauma of their client.

Collectively I have 35+ years of training in the areas of Behavioral Management Consulting (DICS Theory & Advanced Behavioral Analysis), Crime Victims Assistance – Sexual Trauma, Crisis & Recovery Stress Management and Acute Traumatic Stress Management, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Crisis Intervention and Trauma Counseling, Safety Planning and Response Mediation and Conflict Resolution and Human Development / Family and Adult Life Basic Behavioral Patterns (intro and advanced) among others.

You see, I specialize in dealing with the collective identities surrounding trauma, and crisis including living and working in trauma-embedded communities which are critical skills needed to navigate these delicate clients and help them achieve the best outcomes. By immersing myself in my community and various communities within the Five Boroughs and beyond, I have been able to get a good pulse on what factors not only affect those communities, but that shape some of the trauma. Whether it is talking with individuals from different walks of life, even those involved in criminal activity or living on the streets, helps me develop training programs and services that benefit an underserved and neglected demographic. The goal is to be able to cater to and address the needs of a wide variety of individuals and customize effective mechanisms to help them deal with retraumatization, the traumatic experiences that affect them, and their decision-making processes.

My interactions in trauma-embedded communities, daily dealings with retraumatization contributed by the media, community violence, and lack of real understanding of the community cultures, coupled with ineffective approaches by government and other professionals is an emotionally draining process especially when there are no offers to the sensitivity and compassion needed specific to retraumatization.
